While we were here Harry and I browsed some art exhibits and argued over the validity of modern abstract art. I say it takes impressive emotion and an eye for color, gradients, and forms while he says it takes 5 minutes and some mud. We reached this room with modern abstract wax art on one side and distinct animal art on the other. We stood arguing these points for several minutes in the surprisingly empty abstract end of the room when the author approached us, "No one has stood looking at my art this long all day. Please tell me what you think, tell me your questions!" I almost unprofessionally died laughing right there ( I definitely couldn't look Harry in the eye without bursting ), but I told her I [honestly] liked it but wasn't familiar with the method. She talked with us for five minutes or so, and left ... and you should have seen Harry's face. I don't think he's embracing modern abstract wax art now, but I bet he appreciates it a little more at least.
